In 2005, the house of natural fiber, yogyakarta new media art laboratory, successfully compiled the Yogyakarta International Videowork Festival #01, 2005. Participants came from Indonesia, Slovenia, Japan, Malaysia, Germany, Austria, Australia, the Netherlands, Thailand, UK, France, and USA. During the 2nd anniversary of 10:05 news, we organized workshops, discussions, presentations, exhibitions, and a live PA for electronic and experimental music in different places.  This was the first time for us to organize a new media art festival. Especially within the cultural context of yogyakarta, it is important to have a platform for a breakthrough of media art and for the positioning within the international context. Therefore, we intend to develop and sustain this network further during the festival.
